We see what we want to see

We only see what we want to see. But the camera normally ‘sees’ everything placed in front of it and in focus. What if we made the camera see like we do? How much would be set aside?

This post is a reflection on selective vision and an experiment in representing that with the camera.

We see what we want to see.

It’s all there before us.
Everything is.

Never had it so good:
Internet.
Wikipedia.
Rolling news
Google.

Encyclopaedia Britannica. There. In the palm of my hand.

Yet, we look not to learn, but sometimes to reinforce.
To find someone out there who agrees with us.
Because that means we are right.

No. We aren’t prepared to see it all.
because that might mean we are wrong.
